April Favourites

Hello my lovelies,

Another month has been and gone and I can’t quite believe it – we are in MAY! April has been a crazy old month, celebrating birthdays, enjoying the sunshine, spending time with my favourite people and finally adulting and planning things for mine and my other halves future – so exciting! I have been trying to save money again this month so I have been shopping my stash again but there are a few new products that I have picked up recently that I have just fallen in love with!

Procoal – Actiated Charcoal Exfoliating Face Scrub* see here

I didn’t think I was going to fall in love with this as much as I have but it has really cleared up my skin no end. At the moment I am using this around 3/4 times a week and it works like a dream. I have had troubles with uneven texture on my cheeks recently and although this hasn’t completely gone it has reduced it significantly. It’s one of the best face scrubs in a long time and I cannot tell you how great this product is. I have written a full review of this here if you want a little more information.

Benefit – Ka Brow see here

I have had this in my collection for quite some time and it used to be a firm favourite however it did get a little forgotten about. I wanted to try it again on the ends of my brows just for a little darkness to create a more natural looking brow and to be honest I have fell in love with this all over again. I don’t use this all over my brows as it’s a little too harsh for me but to go through the ends it works like a dream and I am absolutely loving the look of this. Just know – a little of this stuff goes a long way!

L’Oreal – Elvive Purple Shampoo see here

This is a new addition to my collection and to be honest with going from brunette to blonde recently I didn’t have any idea of what purple shampoos actually work. I went with this one on a whim as I do love L’Oreal hair care. This has done wonders for taking the brassiness tones out of my hair. I’m absolutely loving the finish it gives me. I didn’t even realise this was a new product but I am really impressed and very affordable. I use this around once a week as I don’t want my hair to turn white, it’s well worth a try if you are on the hunt for a new purple shampoo.

Estee Lauder – Take It Away Make Up Remover Lotion see here

I have been trying to go through my cleansers before I buy any more, I go through phases of buying four at a time – whoops! I came across this one in my collection and to be honest Iv’e really fallen back in love with it. It’s such a gentle cleanser that removes my make up with complete ease. It’s a fairly thin cream which doesn’t look like it will do much, but I promise you it packs a punch. I would say, that personally this would work for even the most sensitive of skin because there is nothing that would really upset it.

Spectrum – MA14 Brow Definer Brush see here

A lot of people that love beauty adore Spectrum brushes and although I have a few sets from there, personally they are nothing ground breaking. To be honest there aren’t many brushes from Spectrum that I use on a daily basis and although they look nice for me they aren’t the best on the market.

However, aside from my little rant.. I have really enjoyed using this brush alongside Benefits Ka Brow. For a long time I used to use Zoeva’s eyebrow brush but for me this is a lot more impressive and works so much easier to create the shape you require. It also has just the right amount of stiffness in the brush in order to have control over the amount of product that is applied onto the brow but not so much where it’s completely rigid. I also love that you can now buy these brushes individually – £5.99 for this brush is not a bad price at all!

Jouer – High Coverage Liquid Concealer see here

What a little gem this has been this month. This has been sat in my collection untouched for the longest time and this month as I was stuck in a little rut I decided to give it a go and my oh my the best decision I have made in a long time! It’s fabulous and works amazingly for both imperfections and under the eyes with no creasing – what more could you want!? I never worry about my skin now because I know this concealer has got my back. I now understand the reason behind everyone raving about it – well worth the money! If you would like a bit more of an in depth review of this baby see here

That’s all folkes! Let me know if you have used any of these products and what your thoughts are on them.

*I have kindly been gifted this product from Procoal  however all opinions are my own, this is a completely honest review.
