Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease Leave in Conditioner

Hello lovelies,

Another review, but this one is a little different for me. I don’t usually talk much about hair. 1. because I don’t really know a lot and 2. because I don’t do an awful lot with my hair. In fact I use minimal products and I don’t really have any motivation to try anything different. My hair is in good condition and as my nan used to say if ain’t broke don’t fix it.  However one product I have to use otherwise my hair turns into one big knot is detangler/ leave in conditioner. I finally have tried something new so I thought I would share my thoughts with you.

The detangler I have used religiously for years in The Body Shop’s detangler but I find it so hard to get hold of that I gave up a few months ago and decided it was time to try something new. I actually found it really hard to find a leave in conditioner and I spent an awful long time in Boots walking up and down the hair aisles hoping to find something. I decided to try this one, no real particular reason it was on offer and seemed the best value for money.

I have tried shampoo and conditioner from John Freida before and liked them but didn’t feel like I need to rush out and buy it again. Since this one is on offer and isn’t the cheapest brand in the world I decided to try it out. I can’t actually brush my hair after I have washed it without putting a detangler in my hair it’s near on impossible I have blessed with bloody awful fine knotty hair!

The first time I used this I was worried it wasn’t going to work, I’m a skeptical person when it comes to hair care. However as soon as I put my brush through with a few spritz of this it was a dream! It was so damn easy and I really didn’t need much of it either which I was really impressed by. It also helped that it smells amazing, very fresh but nothing overpowering. Just great.

I was also worried about what my hair would be like when it was dry. For reference I leave my hair to dry naturally because I’m not a fan on applying heat on hair unless needed. When it was completely dry it felt a lot softer than usual and just all round felt healthier. It has really made such a difference to my hair, a small change but amazing results.

I absolutely love this product and I am SO glad I took the plunge and tried something new. Sometimes it’s good to go out of your comfort zone and try something new. Especially when you are stuck in a rut like I was! I love it so much that I actually mentioned it in my December Favourites which is completely unheard of, adding a hair care product into the mix. I think I will be saying goodbye to my beloved The Body Shop detangler and hello to this new beauty.

You can find further information about this product here

Let me know if you have tried this before and what your thoughts are on it – I would love to know. Also if you have any recommendations for other leave in conditioners I’d love to try some more!

January Favourites

Hello my lovelies,

This is not a drill – the end of January is finally in sight! This month has gone on FOREVER, does anyone else feel the same? January really hasn’t been a great month for me I have been ill for the WHOLE month and I am still suffering now which has really got me down. I completed a training course for my full time job which is the toughest thing I have done, mentally. It was so hard and I came home every evening crying but I came out the other side and managed to pass with 95% which I still can’t believe. There have been some really tough moments this month and somehow I am still battling on, positive vibes!

There have been some really exciting things happen though – I can FINALLY say I’m off to NYC in September. It’s all booked and I am beyond excited! If you have any recommendations please send them my way! I also have been wedding/ hen party planning for my best friends wedding which has been so lovely. I also spent time with my favourite person, my Grandad who really is so special to me. As this goes live it is his birthday so I hope he has the best day.

ANYWAY enough of me babbling on you have clicked on to see my favourites so I will get on with it. This month has seen me re-organise my beauty collection which was well overdue and with Christmas it was of course time to test my new products which is mainly what these products are.

L’Oreal – Volume Million Lashes So Couture Mascara see here

This might be a shock to a lot of people but for me I just don’t really like the Volume Million range. They don’t work with my lashes and they are a total disappointment to me. I have tried to get on with them and they just don’t work, their are so many in the range but at around £10 a pop I don’t want to try every single one. However, my mum went away to Spain for NYE and came back with this mascara and the eyeliner to match. I was like great I have a mascara that I can’t use but as it was a gift I didn’t want to write it off without trying it.

To my amazement I have FINALLY found one in the range that I love and I’m so happy. This is perfect for my lashes and creates the perfect amount of volume and length. I have used this every day of January and I’m seriously impressed. The only annoyance is that on application it is a little flaky and I do have to have a little clean up but apart from that seriously impressed. It even works on my bottom lashes which I struggle to find a product that doesn’t create the whole panda look after a couple of hours. Very impressed!

MAC – Minralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle see here

So this is a little re-discovery. 2017 was a year of finding lots of new highlighters and as much as I have loved finding new gems I forgot about the beauties I have in my collection including this one. In my opinion this is one of the best highlighters ever made. It is the perfect highlight, and although it looks very glittery in the pan it just creates the perfect glow and I have used this so much this month. It still doesn’t look as though I have really made a dent in this even though I have used this crazy amounts.

Interestingly, I went to visit my sister in Brighton this month and she said to me do you know what I have fallen back in love with and I looked at her face and saw MAC’s soft and gentle! Great minds think alike. I feel like this is a bit of a forgotten product in the beauty world because it still is an amazing product and if you haven’t tried it already and you love your highlight I strongly recommend!

Spectrum – White Marbleous Brushes see here

I haven’t had new brushes for the longest time and for some reason I don’t really talk about make up brushes, I promise 2018 will be the year that changes that! Anyway I have wanted to try Spectrum for the longest time and I was blessed at Christmas to receive the 12 piece Marblous set. I had heard so many good things about them any my oh my they didn’t disappoint! Every one is flipping amazing! The quality is incredible and obviously they are so damn pretty. My favourite one has to be the A00 which is their powder brush. BEST POWDER BRUSH EVER.

Seriously if you haven’t tried Spectrum before then do it, take the plunge. Investing in good brushes is so important. I will definitely be buying more from them – I just have to decide what babies will be mine next!

Ted Baker – Blush Palette

Ok so this is really annoying, I can’t find it ANYWHERE. I suggest if you like the sound of this Ebay may be the best place to go. I received this for a Christmas gift in a beautiful Ted Baker beauty gift set. I have never tried any of their beauty products so I was keen to try it out and see what they have to offer. My oh my this has got to be my favourite in the bundle. The blush is beautiful. It the perfect pink shade that has a brown undertone which allows the pink to come through softly on the cheeks. To my amazement it’s highly pigmented and everything I want in a blush.

I have used this near enough every day this month, I just can’t get enough. Also, can we just apprecaite the packaging – I love the whole copper vibe! To make it even better it comes with a mirror – Ted Baker you have done well. To see what other Ted Baker make up I now have see here

Jo Malone – Blackberry & Bay Body and Hand Lotion see here

Another Christmas present that I have been absolutely loving this month. I have never really paid much attention to my hands. I don’t suffer crazy amounts with dry hands but in the colder winter months I feel as though I need to do more for them and I have started off simple with hand cream. I know this is a very expensive way of getting into hand cream but it has worked because I use it so much.

The smell is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for this time of year. It sinks into the skin so quickly and the smell lingers for a good 4 hours. Sometimes I don’t put perfume on because the smell of this is enough on the body. This is a very luxe product I know and people may think I’m a little crazy but honestly my hands are thanking me for it. Who doesn’t want a Jo Malone product in their life anyway!?

Stila – Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Splendore Shimmer see here

I picked this baby up in a recent Cult Beauty Haul and if I’m honest I didn’t know how I felt about the whole metallic vibe. I have always been a matte lip girl and the whole metallic thing threw me. When I got this in the set I thought I should just give it a go to see what I thought. I’m converted. I love the way this looks on the lips! It helps that the formula of these are AMAZING and last for the longest time. Stila isn’t a brand I have really ventured into but I really need to get some more of these! Any colour recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

BECCA – Apres Ski Glow Face Palette see here

Last but by no means least, this gorgeous little baby. The only products I owned from BECCA prior to buying this was champagne pop & opal skin perfectors. When I saw this in the January sale for me it was a no brainer. It was a chance to see how good their other products were. I will say every single shade in here is super pigmented and their is no dud shade. They are all absolutely beautiful and I love them all. It was nice to try other highlighters and give their blushers and bronzers a go. It is the perfect face palette and perfect for travelling. Even though this is part of their Christmas collection it is still available, if you want to get it don’t miss your chance – you’ll regret it otherwise!

Gold star to you if you have got to the end of the post, I just had a lot to say this month! Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts are on them. Hope you have had a wonderful month!

Review: La Roche-Posay – Effaclar Duo+

Hello my lovelies,

As you know I hold strong values when it comes to skincare, I absolutely love my make-up but your face will only look as your skin allows you too. A good set of skincare products is so key to looking fabulous all the time. For a long time the Effaclar Duo has been a product that has been raved about. I was so skeptical at ordering something like this online without even holding a product from the brand or knowing much about them. Recently I have realised that both Boots and Superdrug now stock La Roche-Posay so obviously it was time for me to finally try this baby out to see what all the fuss is about.

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Now, the reason why this product is so talked about is because it claims the following:

‘Specifically formulated for oily and acne-prone skin in both adults and teenagers. A dual action gel moisturiser for every day that minimises the appearance of spots and blackheads, controls shine and helps protect the skin from the causes of red and brown coloured marks that are often left behind by spots. Keep skin hydrated for 24 hours. Suitable for even sensitive skin.’

For me, these are pretty big claims for a moisturiser. If you have read any skincare related posts from me before then you will know that I suffer with oily skin and the odd breakout. I wouldn’t say so much an issue with blackheads or coloured marks. Even just combating oily skin and spots are bold claims in my opinion. Of course because of this you’d be silly not to try it out and see whether it can do what it claims to do!

So first off lets start with the basics. The packaging, I love. It’s simple but uses the colour blue well in the packaging. You just know from afar exactly what the brand is and when I have seen their other products they all look similar which I like. A moisturiser in a tube is a winner, in a pot I always seem to get too much every where and it becomes very messy – I know I’m heavy handed!

The moisturiser, is a gel texture which actually I really like. Automatically you know it is going to be lighter than a thick cream and especially when it comes to night cream when it’s too thick I just know it isn’t going to help my oily skin at all. This easily soaks into the skin without feeling sticky – again another bonus! I always feel that I barely need much of this product to cover my whole face which is great because I don’t feel you get an awful lot of product for your money!

Just so you are aware, I don’t use this as a morning moisturiser by all means you can but I have a different day cream. Also, I don’t use this every evening and actually I don’t think I am alone in this. I use this when my skin is having a rough time because within a night or two my skin looks a whole load better! It’s some sort of magic cream and it’s actually so refreshing to notice visible differences in your skin by changing one product in your routine!

I use this for around a week at a time and when my skin is looking fantastic again I stop using it. Now, to some this may sound strange but I don’t want my skin to get used to it because for me I don’t think the results will be long term. I suppose you would say this is my spot treatment of choice rather than a daily moisturiser. It just works for me this way.

I must add it also does an incredible job of controlling my oily skin. Again, when I have a breakout the oils within my skin are more prominent and this little baby has the ability to get everything back to normal in no time at all – what more could you want!?

I do love this product an awful lot, it is my savior when I am having a tough time with my skin. I would say that I only need to use this maybe once a month for a week and then I’m all good – impressive right? I 100% agree with the claims that the brand make with regards to spots and oily skin. However, I can’t comment on the blackheads or the coloured marks as this isn’t something I suffer with.

I would say if you are contemplating buying this I would seriously recommend this if you have skin like mine because it works just a treat! It’s my secret weapon against breakouts! I really want to try more products from La Roche-Posay now because I enjoy this one so much. Any recommendations of what to try next would be greatly appreciated. Also, let me know if you have tried this before & what your thoughts are – do you love it as much as I do?

If you want to get your hands on this baby you can buy it here

Superdrug Haul

Hello my lovelies,

I was meant to be on a no spend January, but clearly I cannot be trusted with the internet. I was running low on some products and I was just going to order them and I got sucked in – please tell me I’m not the only one that does this!? I don’t very often shop in Superdrug just because Boots for me has a bigger selection of brands that interest me more. However, I have never shopped online with Superdrug before and I thought lets give it a go!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

I Heart Makeup – Chocolate Orange Palette see here

This is a product I got sucked into buying, but come on look how pretty it looks! The shades are right up my street, I love these orange and red shades compared to a more golden look at the moment and for £9 you just can’t go wrong. I don’t have any eyeshadow palettes from I Heart Makeup but I have heard good things, obviously I will be sure to let you know how I get on!

Collection – Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium see here

For me this is the best concealer EVER. I don’t care what people say but seriously for the price and the coverage of this baby – it’s perfect. I couldn’t tell you how many tubes of this stuff I have been through. I use this pretty much every day and I am never disappointed, it works amazingly on my skin. The coverage is medium but is both blendable and buildable. Seriously if you haven’t tried this concealer – where have you been!? You NEED to try this if you haven’t already – I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Batiste – Dry Shampoo in Sweetie see here

Batiste dry shampoo is not new to me, I adore this stuff and this was another repurchase for me. However, it is a new scent. I’m not picky to the scents because to me I can’t really smell the difference this was the first one I saw on the website and it went straight in my basket. I love the smell of sweet things so I am hoping I won’t have an issue with this. I will let you know if I do.. but just know this stuff is a massive life saver!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

L’Oreal – Smooth Sugars Clear Scrub see here

I saw this on the new in section of Superdrug and it really caught my eye. I didn’t even know this was thing for L’Oreal I haven’t heard anything about this product in the beauty world. This was then cause for me to obviously buy it and try it out. They have a few different ones and this focuses on purifying and removing blackheads which I am all for! I will let you know how I get on with these after I have used it!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Garnier – Micellar Water see here

This is an obvious re-purchase for me, I flipping love this stuff and I cannot be without this. In my opinion this is THE best micellar water on the market and I will forever continue to buy this stuff. I normally buy the 700ml bottle but it was sold out so I have had to buy the 400ml bottle. Seriously if you haven’t tried this already you need to it’s just amazing!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

L’Oreal – Infallible 24h Matte Foundation in Vanilla see here

This is another repurchase for me, I love this foundation and I would say this is my go to drug store foundation at the moment. I much prefer matte foundations as I have oily skin and this just works so well. Annoyingly they don’t seem to do an extensive shade range for this foundation, but if you find a shade that works for you I would really recommend trying it out. I did mention this in my Top 3: Drugstore Foundations so if you are hunt for a new foundation this may help!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

I can’t wait to starting using all of these products, there is nothing better than using brand new makeup in my opinion. Let me know if you have tried out any of these products and what your thoughts are on them – I’d love to know!

Review: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Hello my lovelies,

Kat Von D was a brand I finally ventured into in 2017 and I have been impressed by a the products I have tried which includes their everlasting liquid lipsticks, full review here . There is a lot of hype around this brand and for good reason. The tattoo liner is something that everyone wants to get their hands on from the brand and I think it’s about time I share with you my thoughts of the product with you. I worry sometimes with hyped up products whether they will work for me but it would be silly not to try this especially now that it is finally available in the UK.

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

I picked up the tattoo liner from IMATS in London where there was a Kat Von D stand I was so excited to see it there that I knew I had to get my hands on this and finally try it out. I picked up the liner in Trooper Black, for me eyeliner has to be black. I absolutely adore the packaging, I love that Kat Von D in all her products shows her creativity and skill it just makes the product that little more special.

The eyeliner pen itself is very fine and has separate bristles which I love, I much prefer this over a pen nib vibe because I find it easier to create a precise line and if you are all for the winged liner this is the perfect pen for creating that. It’s a lot more flexible which I find 10x easier than trying to line your eye with a pen nib that just doesn’t move. I hope this make sense because for me this is pretty hard to explain!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

The liquid itself is a black as it can be, you know when you get an eyeliner and it claims to be black and it isn’t yea this isn’t one of those. It creates the perfect line on the eyes and lasts all day. I never find any transfer on the top of my eyelids which I find a massive problem with eyeliners in general. I’m not for the panda look at all! Even at the end of the day it is still in the same position as to when I applied it in the morning – happy days!

I would say that this eyeliner dries out pretty quickly, for the cost of it I would expect it to last a little longer I am using the drags of this at the moment as I am not ready to throw it away just yet because of the cost. It’s so frustrating because it is a blooming amazing product but I don’t want to buy another one so soon.

Overall, it’s such a lovely product. As eyeliners go this is the best one I have ever tried and since I have had it I have used it near enough every day, to my nothing else has come close as of yet. Sometimes it’s good to stick to what you know and this is one of them! If you want to get your hands on this little baby then the best place to buy it from is Debenhams

Let me know if you have tried this product and what your thoughts are, I would love to know. Also if you have any recommendations for other eyeliners for me to try out I’m all ears!

Empties #12

Hello lovelies,

January is a good month for empties, I love at the start of the New Year finishing things and having a bit of a clear out! It’s a bit of a cleanse for me and I seem to be finishing an awful lot of things. I’m sad that in the post I have used some of my favourite things  BUT it means I can use new products. Anyone else have a drawer or two full of products waiting to be used?

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Batiste – Dry Shampoo in Fresh see here

I cannot live without dry shampoo, if you don’t use it – why!? It’s a great invention and I have no idea where I would be without it. I don’t do an awful lot with my hair but dry shampoo is something that I use near enough on a daily basis. For me, Batiste are the brand for dry shampoo. I can’t use anything else, there are lots of fragrances and they are super affordable. I ran out of this and I completely panicked because I hadn’t brought another one so I am currently using my sisters one until my Superdrug order turns up.

The Body Shop – Drops of Youth, Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask see here

You know that product that you jump for joy that you have finally finished it? Yup that was what happened here. I have had this for the longest time and I’m so happy to finish it. It’s a good product, but I wouldn’t go as far as great.. It’s just a little average for me and I was just going insane. I wanted to use it all up because it was fairly expensive I’m not good at throwing unfinished products away – I just can’t do it. It’s a good night cream, but I’m not about having my face stuck to the pillow and night and this is what it gave me. So many people rave about this but I’m just not quite there with it. I won’t be buying this again I’m afraid..

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Simple – Kind to Skin Facial Scrub see here

This has been in many Empties posts, I just fricking love this stuff. This is my go to facial scrub, I have brought so many tubes of this and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s just works for my skin, it works for sensitive skin and does such a good job of exfoliating. My face feels and looks so much better after using this. It’s even better that it is super affordable. Simple is a great brand and if you haven’t ventured into their products yet you need to I promise you won’t regret it. Of course I already have another one of these ready to go!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Clinique – Clarifying Lotion see here

Another product I am super happy that I finally finished. This seemed to go on forever! I mean I love it, it’s a great product and it’s made me more eager to buy more Clinique skincare, but I’m happy to see this go. I use this as a toner and it works wonders for my skin. I’m not a massive toner person but because of this I ensure in my skincare routine near enough every evening that this is included. I know I have mentioned this in favourites last year and there is a reason why! I haven’t repurchased it yet because I have a blooming tonne of toners but I would definitely consider buying this in the future!

Marc Jacobs – Daisy Dot Perfume see here

I am very sad to have used this baby up. This has been my go to fragrance for the longest time and when it run out I was very disappointed. I’m not the sort of person to go out and buy myself perfume, I don’t know why I just feel it’s a product that you receive as a gift. I won’t describe the scent because I would do a god damn awful job at it. If you are ever near a perfume counter go and smell this – it’s beautiful. All the Daisy fragrances are pretty good though and they really win me over with their packaging. I think this will be on my birthday list because I don’t think I can be without it for too long.

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Tony Moly – I’m Real Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care see here

Firstly I do not pay £5 for the mask if you want to try these masks then head to your local TK MAXX/Home Sense because you can pick them up for £2! So I have tried a few of these now, and on the whole they are ok. I do think this is one of the better ones from the range because I actually noticed a difference. I have medium size pores and I am all up for minimizing them and this mask really helped. I would say the effects of this even lasted a couple of days. FYI it doesn’t smell of red wine so don’t let this put you off. I actually think I will repurchase this but not anytime soon because I have a crazy face mask collection!

Pantene – 3 Minute Miracle Volume & Body Conditioner see here

Another Empties, another conditioner. This one was fairly good. I did notice that my hair did have more volume from using it and I’m all about this life. I was brought this as a gift and for whatever reason I don’t have the shampoo so it’s hard to give a true indication of how good this is. I would say for the price I like it, I also love that it’s a squeezy tube I much prefer this over the plastic bottles because I can actually get every last drop out – yep I know I’m sad I like getting my monies worth!

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

BECCA – First Light Priming Filter see here

So I got a sample of this and I’m in love. This stuff is a game changer on the primer front. The purple colour of the primer did worry me a bit but I promise you, you don’t end up with a purple face! It creates such a lovely base for your make up and I did notice that my make up stayed on that little bit longer. Annoyingly I now want this but £15 for 15ml – that’s pretty pricey.. Urgh I hate loving things that are expensive. To buy it or not?

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

That’s all folkes! Another lengthy post I know, a gold star to you if you have got to this point. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts are – I’d love to know!

Review: NYX HD Finishing Powder

Hello my lovelies,

I feel like I haven’t done many reviews recently so I thought I would share with you my thoughts on this product. I feel as though although to most beauty lovers powders are important, they aren’t really spoken about. I do understand why because yes it just sets your make up but it can influence whether your base make up at to whether it looks cakey, oily or blooming flawless. Last year I decided it was time to branch out from the famous Rimmel powder and try some new products. NYX has been a brand that has really impressed me in recent years especially with their lip products so I thought it only right to give them a chance.

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

I picked this powder up mid 2017 and for whatever reason I wasn’t drawn to trying it out straight away. It was on my list to review so I thought come on let’s give it a go – what’s the worst that can happen!? I always pick powders in translucent, I never require any further colour from a powder but this is merely a personal choice. As plastic packaging goes it’s pretty sturdy. There are a lot of packaging out there that is extremely flimsy and breaks so easy but this is pretty durable considering I have dropped it a few times – whoops!

The powder itself is very finely milled which is what I look for in a powder, I’m not about a cakey face so it’s a good start. It blends effortlessly into the skin and sits well on every single foundation. I have tried it on quite a few and it’s fared well with them all. My skin always feels that little softer and helps to reduce the look of my pores which I always need a helping hand with. I also feel you know when your concealer underneath your eyes slightly creases? This does help to minimise this, I’m not sure how but it does!

I did worry with it being a white powder that I would have issues with have a ‘white cast’ look but actually because it’s so fine you don’t have this issue. This was my main concern before trying this and I’m happy to report back that you don’t have to worry about this.

The only concern I have with this product is oil control. Now I have oily skin – not a major problem but I know it’s there so I always side for mattifying powders/base products. This powder is mattifying, which it states in the product description however where this product stumbles is that it’s not great at oil control. After around 4 hours of having this on I feel as though I need to reapply powder, which is fine if you have the time and accessible to topping up but that life isn’t for me.

I need a powder that can near enough last all day and this one doesn’t for me. I’m sure if you had normal skin this would be amazing because for me I have no other issues but the whole shiny life is not for me. Unfortunately because of this small thing for me it does create quite a big problem. It’s frustrating because I don’t have any other issues with the product, just oil control. I know so many people enjoy this product and I can understand why it just didn’t sit well on my skin.

I will continue to use this, but only if I know my skin is in tip top condition or if I am not wearing make up for a long period of time. Let me know if you have tried this product before & how you get on with it.

Cult Beauty Haul

Hello my lovelies,

So, Cult Beauty is a website I’m on an awful lot. I love the brands that are stocked and I am always lusting over something. They stock the likes of Huda Beauty to Zoeva with so many brands. Just before Christmas their end of year sale started I had a little look and decided there was so many products I wanted to try. They were Christmas gifts to me from me – this is a normal thing to do right? This came a couple days after Christmas and I thought I would share with you what I picked up.

Stila – All Day Liquid Lipstick Set in Warm & Fuzzy see here

The past couple of months Stila has really made headways in the beauty world. I thought it was about time I try some products from them and this set is so cute! Liquid lipsticks really are my jam and these colours are beautiful. There is a metallic shade, a red and a muted purple/brown. I thought this would be a good way to try the formulas out and see whether they are worth buying full size. I shall report back and let you know my thoughts.

BECCA – Apres Ski Glow Collection Face Palette see here

Unfortunately Cult Beauty no longer sell this palette I guess it is sold out, but I found it on the Space NK website. First off this packaging is gorgeous! I have a few of the shimmering skin perfectors and I thought it was time to branch out to see what their other face powders are like. I love how versatile this palette looks and I cannot wait to get using these gorgeous shades. I actually paid £31.50 as opposed to £45.00 in the sale – bargain!

This is brand again where I want to branch into a little more and with this being on sale for £28.20 it would be rude not to in my eyes. I now have two beautiful new palettes to play about with. Lets just say I’m hoping my highlighting game will be strong over the next couple of months with these babies.

Stila – Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye in Bronzed Ball see here

I have heard SO much about these little babies over the past couple of months that I couldn’t not pick one of these up. If I am honest it was hard to choose just one shade as they all look so beautiful but I chose Bronzed Ball as I think it’s the shade I will get the most wear out of and obviously it’s blooming beautiful. I have swatched it on my hand and my oh my I’m in heaven. I am hoping the pigmentation will be the exact same when I finally apply this little baby to my eyes. Don’t you worry I will be sure to report back and whether it is worth investing in.

Finally I received a few samples in my package. I love receiving these because it’s such a good way to try products out. I received the: Emma Hardie Amazing Face – Age Support Cream, Oskia Citylife Cleansing Concentrate and BECCA First Light Priming Filter. I will be sure to try these out. I’m just hoping I won’t be sucked in because they are fairly expensive products.
