Hello my lovelies,
I didn’t realise how quickly I use up products, it seems like only a week ago I was writing my first empties post, see here! Actually when you keep all your empty products for a post like this it is really interesting to see what you use up. I love reading these posts, one thing is writing a review on a product another is actually using the product up. I’m always so pleased with myself when I use a product up – anyone else like that or is it just me?
I have quite a few products I have used up recently and interestingly they all vary in categories, enjoy!
Herbal Essences – Bee Strong Shampoo. Link Here
I love quite a lot of the ranges that Herbal Essences bring out, as mentioned in my previous empties, I had used up the conditioner and finally I have used the shampoo. I really need to buy the bigger bottles of conditioner as I ALWAYS run out way before the shampoo. Anyway, I think this is my favourite range from them, the two together really strengthened my hair surprisingly. Less hair fell out while I was brushing and washing my hair. They don’t work as well separately though, but I will definitely be buying this again!
Batiste – Dry Shampoo, cherry scent. Link Here
I think Batiste is the only brand of dry shampoo I have ever used. I used to get the one for brunettes but with my ombre hair I thought to go safe with their normal ones. I’m not sure why I picked cherry but I literally always pick it up. It really is a life saver when your hair is looking limp, I use it near enough every day! I can’t live with out it and I already had a bottle ready to take its place as soon as it ran out. Best invention ever!
Sure – Invisible Black & White Deodorant Link Here
So this is a bit of a boring one, but everyone uses it! I am normally the person who picks up the deodorant that is one offer and normally the cheapest. This one I actually really love and more recently I am becoming a little more loyal. It doesn’t really have a scent which I love. I have found with other products that all they do is make me cough and I get the scent stuck in my mouth for hours. It lasts ages and I have never experienced the horrible white patches that you sometimes get and it always leaving marks on your clothes. Absolute winner in my book!
Liz Earle – Skin Repair Moisturiser Link Here
So this is just amazing, like all Liz Earle products. I simply cannot rate them more highly, it glides onto the skin leaving it soft all day. I never have any dry patches and somehow it controls oil. I mean what more can you want? I apply this every morning without fail, I have never been loyal to a moisturiser before as I love trying new products but when this was running low the first thing I did was dash out to buy a new one. I now don’t see my life without it. Well done Liz Earle!
Seventeen – Miracle Matte Pressed Powder in Natural Fair. Link Here
Hmm, I unfortunately didn’t think much of this product. I wanted to love it as I prefer my skin more matte due to my oily skin but it didn’t do anything. I was so disheartened because I wanted it to work for me and it didn’t. Maybe it doesn’t work for how oily I can get throughout the day I’m not sure but I always felt that I had to keep touching this up in comparison to my other powders. I won’t be repurchasing this again until my skin is a little dryer. I mean I did use it all up as I hate wasting product but I suppose it is just disappointing for me.
Rimmel – Match Perfection Foundation in 103 – True Ivory Link Here
I love this foundation, I was very sad when this ran out. It is a lovely foundation that I would say is medium coverage. It is the perfect shade for my skin and blended in nicely. It stayed on all day without touching up and made my skin blurred of its imperfections. I mean who doesn’t want that!? It also has SPF which is another winner as I don’t need to worry about putting another layer of something on my face with SPF in it. I cannot wait to repurchase this, I have a lot of bottles of foundation to get through but when I have, this is top of my list!
Garnier – Micellar Cleansing Water Link Here
So this micellar water is a pretty big deal in the skincare world and was a real game changer. This was one of the first to come out over in the UK and I have never looked back. I have had countless bottles of this and I can’t live without it. It takes my makeup off so effortlessly and is not drying what so ever. When my friends and family ask what I use I always recommend this to them and they also love it. It doesn’t sting my eyes when I take my eye make up off and is perfect if you have sensitive skin. I always have a bottle for back up when one is running low!
Vineyard Candles – Prosecco Link Here
I love candles and I love prosecco so the two combined was a lovely idea. The scent was lovely – however I didn’t feel it was a prosecco smell. It was a sweet scent, which I love and I enjoyed burning it. Would I repurchase it? Probably not only because I feel that it is an expensive candle for what it is. I know they as a brand do other alcoholic drink scents and these are perfect gift ideas. I received this as a gift and it was so thoughtful. They are also made out of recycled wine bottles which I love.
Primark – Oval Cosmetic Pads
These are literally the only cotton pads I use. I have been through so many different ones in my time and I always go back to them & they are only 90p. I go through so many packs of these and I cannot take my make up off with anything else. They never come apart or become fluffy and horrible and they are super soft. Again, I already had a pack of these to start using as soon as these were finished. Best 90p I have ever spent!
Yankee Candle – Tealights in Frankincense Link Here
I don’t use tea lights very often, I normally use a big candle in my room like I have mentioned but there is something very cute about lighting tea lights around your room. It makes me feel so relaxed and happy with life. I actually really like this scent, I have never smelt actual frankincense so I couldn’t tell you if it smells like it but it is an earthy sort of scent. I’m literally awful at explaining – but trust me it is lovely! I have packs of tea lights to use up but if I see them when I walk past Yankee Candle I may have to pick them up.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post – have you used any of these products, let me know what you think!
