December Favourites

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you all had a wonderful December full of festive fun and family time. December was a little up and down for me but I am feeling positive for what is to come in January. I strongly believe 2017 is my year!

In the month of December I tried a few new things along with digging out some old products that I absolutely love. I thought I would share with you everything beauty wise that I was loving.

Soap and Glory – Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk. See Here

I recently did a review about this back in November to find I absolutely loved it, See Here after using it more and more in the month of December I have truly fallen in love. For me this really does rival my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish which I absolutely adore. It is a cheaper alternative and you get a lot of product for your money. This is the first product from the Soap and Glory skincare range and I will definitely be buying more in the coming months!

L’Oreal – Silver Gloss and Protect System Shampoo See Here

I recently went a little lighter with my ombre to a whiter blonder. I was worried about it fading quickly so I was recommended this silver shampoo by my sister. I use it fortnightly as it is a little drying on my hair but it just tops up the ends of my hair to the shade of blonde I want to be. I usually keep this on for around 2 minutes just to let it sink in. I am truly amazed by the results, I cannot wait to keep using this!

Benefit – Hoola Bronzer See Here

I think everyone has this as a makeup staple in their collection. When I first brought this I didn’t really know how to use it and I put it to the back of my drawer. However recently I thought I would give it another go as so many people rave about the product. I literally fell in love, this time of year when it is a little colder I like to warm my face up with a little contour and bronzing and this does exactly that. It’s matte which I love so it is perfect for contouring it is now my go to contour product!

Urban Decay – Eyeshadow Primer Potion See Here

I can’t live without a primer for my eyeshadow. Whoever invented this product was a genius! I usually use my MAC paint pot in Painterly but it is running out and I thought I needed to try an alternative. Again I have had this in my collection for quite a while and I thought I would try it again. Of course I fell in love – it does exactly what it says on the tin. My eye makeup stays on all day looking as good as when I first put it on. If I’m honest I think this is better than the MAC paint pot. I use this every day without fail and I don’t think this will stop any time soon.

Body Shop – Lip Butter in Strawberry See Here

I’m not one to use lip balms/butters very often as most of the time *touch wood* my lips don’t really dry out. However when I have needed a bit of moisture I have gravitated towards this one. I love the scent, strawberry has to be my favourite but I do have a few others. It just seems to do the trick. I normally put this on at night as more of a lip treatment – I wake up in the morning and my lips are massively improved and feel so soft. The pot seems to go on forever so it’s fantastic value for money.

Rimmel London – Lasting Finish by Kate in the shade 30 See Here

A winter lipstick for me is always dark. Out come the purples and reds that have been neglected in the warmer months. This lipstick has been a staple through the month of December, it is is beautiful matte plum shade. It lasts for quite a while and is not too drying on the lips. Although everyone goes towards their Rimmel 107 I think this is a lot better for me. I prefer a purple lip and I am going to be so sad when it gets warmer because this will have to go away once again 😦

Maybelline New York – Colour Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 310 Berry Much See Here

A few years ago if someone said I would of being wearing lip liner I would of laughed in their face. I always thought it was for the older woman, but now I very rarely wear lipstick without a lip liner. This is a staple in the winter time for me, the formula of this is amazing. It is so comfortable on this lips and I simply cannot fault it. This works with literally all of the purple lipsticks that I own. I have a few more colours from the range and I love them also but they are more brighter shades. I will be picking a lot more of these up in the coming months. If you are looking for a new lip liner I would definitely recommend this range!

  1. I want to try the urban decay primer potion cause everyone loves it a lot, but I use a little concealer under my eyeshadow and I never have a problem with it staying put so I feel like its a waste of time and money to get! But I might try it when I have some extra money 🙂 xxx

  2. Your pictures are fab. I love anything Soap & Glory related so this cleansing milk is a big favourite of mine too haha. I’ve heard a very mixed review on the Benefit Hoola bronzer, but I suppose I will have to try it soon to see for myself xx

  3. That lipstick is such a beautiful shade! I’m with you, even though I adore 107, I tend to reach for different ones like purples. Loved looking at your favourites!
