Hello my lovelies,
So yesterday I traveled down to Brighton, one of my favourite places in the UK to see my lovely sister. She has recently moved in to a new house and a sister retail therapy day was long overdue!
As Christmas is round the corner money is a little tight buying presents for others but there is always a little money spare for myself! It doesn’t help when your sister is a bad influence!
I thought I would share the things I picked up with you!
The first place we went into was Primark. I always find it so hard to walk into the shop without picking up something. As everything is all so reasonably priced it’s hard not to walk out without finding a bargain! It also doesn’t help that I have watched an awful lot of Autumn Primark Hauls on YouTube which makes me want to buy everything!
1. Alice is Wonderland PJ Top – £5
So I can’t walk into Primark without perusing around the Pajama section, I don’t know about you but it is an absolute must! Especially this time of year when all you want to do is snuggle up in comfy clothes. It doesn’t help that I have an unhealthy addiction to Disney. Primark have an excellent range of Disney clothing and I can’t help but pick something up from the range, especially when it is Alice in Wonderland which is one of my favourite Disney films of all time!
I got the top slightly over-sized as I hate PJ tops being skin tight when you want to snuggle in a cosey blanket! It is incredibly soft and the pink ‘A’ on the top is a little fluffy and a nice addition to the top.
I cannot wait to put this on tonight!
2. Check-Print Scarf – £7
Now I don’t know about you, but I cannot survive this cold weather without a snuggly scarf! It is a winter must and again Primark have an excellent selection. For me, a scarf has to be big enough to act as a blanket and soft to touch as well as looking pretty of course!
This scarf I have seen in a lot of hauls recently and I completely understand why, not only can you wear the scarf with the check-print showing, the print underneath is equally as gorgeous which means you get 2 scarfs for the price of one – BARGAIN!
I finally went into Boots, now the Brighton Boots is amazing! It is a lot better than my local store and I spent a while walking around the aisles wanting to have unlimited money so I can buy everything! I was very refrained and only come out with a few bits but I love them and I cannot wait to try them all!
3. Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk – £8
(This is currently on offer for £5.33 saving you a 1/3 which is on all Soap and Glory skincare so go grab it while you can!) http://www.boots.com/en/PEACHES-AND-CLEAN%E2%84%A2-Deep-Cleansing-Milk-350ml_1683520/
I have always wanted to try Soap and Glory skincare, I have some of their make-up products and absolutely love everything I have tried. I was after a new cleanser and with there being an offer on their products I thought now was my chance.
I can’t say too much about this product as I haven’t tried it yet but I will post a review soon on my thoughts. I am hoping this will be one of many products I buy from Soap and Glory Skincare!
4. Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser (Dry/Sensitive) – £20.25
So this is a repurchase for me. I fell completely in love with this moisturiser back in May and I haven’t used a different one since! I use this every morning without fail after cleansing my face and boy does it feel good. It leaves my skin feeling moiturised all day and I especially notice it when I have a ‘no make-up day’. I really do notice the difference if I am having a lazy day and forget to put this on.
I can’t recommend this enough and in actual fact the brand as a whole. I think all the products are reasonably priced and you really do get your monies worth on this!
5. Collection Velvet Kiss Moisturising Lip Cream in Mulberry. £2.50
Now, as a brand I LOVE Collection it is so affordable and I am yet to try a product that I don’t like. I saw this new line of lip creams and I couldn’t walk away without picking one up. I love trying new formulas of lipstick and I fancied picking up a berry shade for this time of the year.
The colour of this is berry with a red undertone. I have a lot of lipsticks which have a purple undertone so it was nice to add something different to my collection.
I haven’t tried this yet and interested to see how this is. It claims to be moisturising yet matte. As we all know, matte lipsticks are notoriously drying so I am looking forward to trying this. Review will be up on the blog soon!
